Brighten up your flower beds amp; containers with these stunning flowers!

The Calendula Pot Marigold is a perennial that prefers warmer climates. Despite typically being a short lived perennial, the Calendula Pot Marigold is usually grown as an annual in flower beds and flower borders or decorative containers. Originating from the same family as marigolds, chrysanthemums and daisies, the Calendula Pot Marigold has that iconic daisy =-like aesthetic but with stunning bright orange colours.

Loved by bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects, it's worth knowing that the Calendula Pot Marigold has been produced without the use of synthetic fertilisers or pesticides. These organically certified seeds have been raised in a way that is much better for our soil and the environment. The flowers of the Calendula Pot Marigold can be used to add colouring to rice or in salads. Flowering from June to July and growing to a height of 45cm (18"). And why not try the flowers in a salad? - pick them young for the best taste!

Growing Information

Calendula Pot Marigold is very easy to grow from seed. Sow them in fertile garden soil that is well-drained in a sunny location. Calendula seeds can be sown just before the last frost during the spring. In order to promote a more compact and healthy plant, pinch any young plants back. This will encourage a bushy growth and prevent plants becoming leggy once they have established. Make sure to water regularly especially during the hotter periods of the season and deadhead often to encourage new flowers to bloom.

Live Plants

Organic Garden Catalogue strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3.

Non Standard Deliveries

Unfortunately like many companies in our industry we are currently only able to supply orders to UK based customers, excluding those in Northern Ireland. We are committed to finding a way that we can resume or normal services again as soon as possible. Please accept our apologies for any inconvience caused.

Very Large items

If ordering any large items marked large lorry items  a surcharge of £5 per item will be applied. These items are also not available to areas and postcodes shown under non standard deliveries. We may need to contact you regarding delivery so please provide a contact number with all orders.

Prices include VAT where applicable.

We reserve the right to contact you and advise an additional charge where necessary and are happy to quote for carriage of specific products to more remote areas. Some items may not be available to all areas.

We reserve the right to revise any carriage charges in the event of carrier price increase or other unforeseen circumstances. We will always advise of the carriage charge before payment is taken.
