The clothing industry contributes quite heavily to carbon emissions, but let's not pretend we can do without clothes! A gardener can go through quite a lot of clothing whilst working, so using garments adapted for gardening or to protect your normal clothes is a small step we can take to increase our level of sustainability. Gardening clothes are designed to help with work, with many featuring additional pockets and belts, and offering an added level of protection against nature and the elements.
