Petunia Seeds

The vast range of petunias available provides breath-taking colour and variance for any garden, balcony or hanging basket all summer long. The petunia is half hardy and therefore needs starting in a protected, warm environment with good organic compost. Plant them out into their final position in May and, if care is taken to deadhead and prevent drying out, they'll flower their little hearts out until the autumn! To get the most out of your plants, use organic fertilisers, particularly when growing in containers. Start with a liquid feed of seaweed extract in the spring when the plants are at a 6-8 leaf stage and then add comfrey pellets to the soil in mid-summer.
