Cornflower Seeds

Cornflowers are hardy annuals, which means they can be sown directly into the soil in the spring. Excellent for our bees & butterflies, it's a great idea to sow them alongside your veg on the allotment, or even in a pot on your balcony or terrace. Another idea is to sow and create a pollinator corridor. Plant your cornflower seeds alongside other hardy annuals & sow them along the length of your allotment or raised beds, which will attract pollinators to your whole patch and create a stunning natural display. Whilst typically electric blue in colour, there are now a wonderful array of pastel and pink shades for you to grow eye-catching contrast in your outside space.
