(Radicchio) Green leaves in summer, turning red in cold weather. Adds greatly to the flavour and appearance of salads. Sow in May for autumn use or over-winter for spring harvest. Force ‘Chicons’ by lifting in Nov and storing in a warm dark place, packed in sand. 240 seeds.
