Direct sow in drills and thin if looks to dense when germinated, or broadcast thinly. First cut in 3-4 weeks when at least 5cm high, a total of three cuts can usually be made. Pick leaves rather than whole plant for longer cropping. In mild winters can grow into the following spring.
