| Jerusalem Artichokes are a much under-rated vegetable. This variety is much smoother than other types which results in less waste. Peel and fry as chips, stir fry slices like water chestnuts, or lovely in pureed soups. The best place for the tubers is in the ground, so plant out as soon as conditions allow, 30-40cm apart. Available from mid January to early March. Orders can be placed from October onwards and must be received by 28th February. 750g pack contains approx 15 tubers. Chinse Artichokes are a real delicacy, as well as being very hardy and easy to grow. Orders must be made by end February for March delivery. For globe artichokes, see our seed section. |
