If you could ask a plant what it wanted to drink, it would say “Pure rainwater, please”! So capturing, storing and using rainwater is something we should all try to do for the benefit of our crops, and to preserve a resource that is too often taken for granted.
The award winning Rain Water Terrace helps to keep water fresh and avoids stagnation as it collects first in the top tier and then trickles down through the tiers as they fill. Water can be drawn off from any tier using the fast flow drain tube, filling a watering can in seconds, and these also show the water level. Each tier has two detachable planting pockets with integrated wicks to provide water to the plants, and a planter with capillary matting sits on the roof of the top tier. These look fantastic with trailing flowers, but can also be used to grow herbs or leafy salads for easy picking close to the house.
Simple and quick to install, with full instructions, and complete with a diverter which fits standard plastic down pipes.
