Clear any weed seedlings before laying, and water the area to be covered. An application of Advanced Slug Killer is useful as the warm, damp conditions under the mulch may be atttractive to them. Lay the mulch onto the soil and secure the edges with soil or ground staples. Cut holes for plants. Water will not pass through the material so water through the planting holes.
