BUMBLEBEE COLONY AND WOODEN SHELTER [BUSH] |
Bumblebees are a natural pollinator for crops. Less dependent on weather conditions than honeybees, they prefer cloudy conditions and don’t have a permanent colony. One colony can pollinate up to 3,000 square metres of crops for 6-8 weeks and are suitable for pollinating a wide range of crops including strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, tomatoes, beans, peppers, apples and pears.
Improve the quality and yield of your crop with good pollination. Place your colony in the garden, open it and the bumblebees will fly out to forage for pollen.
You can house your colony in this wooden shelter which can be tree mounted. A fantastic addition to your garden for all the family to watch and enjoy and a unique and unusual gift idea.
Depatched between March and August.
